Macbeth: Act 4

At first, I just thought it was a horrible deed but once I got more into thought I soon started to feel fear and sadness. I replace Macduff's family with my own and started to imaging their deaths, I literally cried for hours thinking multiple ways they could have die. And thanks to that disaster, I began to connect more with Macduff. At the begging of the play, I thought Macbeth was a easily manipulate and that he was kind a innocent but later I soon see him as a crazy lunatic and that innocents I kind a saw in the past was erase. I can kind a predict how everything was going to go down so I get kind a surprise.

At first the witches seek Macbeth out for fun but in act 4, Macbeth is the seeker and he listens with a dark heart instead of a honorable heart. In act 1 the witches wanted to tell him about his "density" without the permission of their master but this time they had permission and gave Macbeth a harder time. Macbeth who first didn't trust and believe now rely on the witches' words. I believe the witches indirectly change Macbeth. They didn't force him to change, they just say words and those words convince him to change. In order for it to be directly, they must has done a direct action that pushes him but they just use words which is a passive course of action.

The murderers say Macduff was a traitor to Macbeth. But Lady Macduff called Macduff a traitor because he wasn't there when they need them the most. She thinks he abandoned them, and that thought made her think he betray them. I do believe that Macduff is a traitor to Macbeth but not to his country and his family. The reason why is because Macduff didn't know that they were going to get murder and if they did  he would have come up with a different plan. As said earlier he wasn't  a traitor to his nation but he was a traitor to  Macbeth because he believe that Macbeth would ruin his country he went against the king and fought for his nation believing he was doing good.

leaders are the one that help shape the country, so if the leader has a twisted mind, his decisions can destroy the world. But if you have more than one leader shaping the country, there will be less damage and more control. For instance, the united states' government system. They check on one other and almost everything goes pass that tough system. But leader with full power can do whatever they want and most of the time leaders like Hitler take that power to their advantage. And his or other corrupted leaders' advantage can help destroy or rise a country.

Language, at the beginning the single sound of that term would cause myself to jump off a cliff into a shark infected sea. I never found the joy of the concept of sitting down and reading in silence. But having the right topic, can create wonders. One single book help shape my path into the cruel, occasionally truthful endorsement of law and  soon my  fixation inspired me to become a lawyer.

Even though i was in a Pre-AP English in middle school, i never really enjoy reading. Everyday before my birthday, my teacher, Mrs. Carson, force books down my throat hoping one will cleanse my dreadful idea of books. Romance books seem as an unrealistic sweet dream and the she would gave me were kiddish impractial horror stories that can pass as a down-version of Scooby Doo, and etc. Every book I read, I found flaws. But one week before spring break, she gave me a book called, “ The Adventures of Sherlock Homes” by Aurthur Concave Doyle. At first i thought Doyle’s book would classified as the rest, disappointing, dissatisfying, and a huge waste of time. But the very first sentence hook me faster than a cheetah running for it’s life. I finished that book in three or four days, and with this new amazement, an deep black that could have easily be mistaken for Alice’s black hole, led me to a new world of law and mysteries.
I soon read articles, watch documentaries, and I even started watching the news, all just to fill my hunger for Knowledge. I readed “on the law of war and peace”, Criminal Justice: A Brief Introduction” ,and variety of books.  My research on law soon became a habit then metamorphose to an uncontrollable inclination of duty and this duty sculpt my dream job.

Macbeth: Act 5

After killing King Duncan, lady Macbeth and Macbeth were crown as the new rulers of Scotland.   Lady Macbeth push toward the idea of murder has put them at the top but at what cost? In the play, Lady Macbeth has started the questioning her and her husband's actions. Not only has she started questioning but Macbeth's insanity has also took a toll on her mental/emotional state. Shakespeare wanted the audience to understand that Lady Macbeth started to regret her decision intensely, that she can't keep it in. By having her sleep walk and sleep talk (and other actions) connect to the quote "Sleep no more...Glamis hath murdered sleep, and therefore Cawdor shall sleep no more" ( act 2 scene 2 page 3). Macbeth said this quote after the bloody action that occurred that night.  Macbeth's quote finally reveal in act 5 scene 1, when lady Macbeth was sleep walking/talking. Macbeth quote tells that no murder crime or crimes on equal/beyond that deed level will never disappear from the human mind. Instead the memory of your action will creep and craw around the mind, forcing the person to remember repeatedly like a broken disk or a time loop as the Supernatural show's episode, Mystery Spot.  And these reminders crack the mind decreases the human's brain strength, which causes the human to go insane or depression. In Lady Macbeth case, she started to lose sanity.

I Believe the play's, Macbeth, climax was in scene one. Before act 5, the audience wouldn't guess that Lady Macbeth started sleep walking. Sure they might seen that she changed ever since the murder but out of all the possible ways the deed could affect her, sleep walking was at the bottom in the past. Also, after scene one everything soon began falling to the resolution. For instance, the doctor of course had to tell the husband that her wife needed God and that the doctor presence help end Macbeth's conversation to one of his subjects about important info. And because her didn't care for the info, Macduff and his army was able to attack swiftly and so on.

Even though Shakespeare usually gives his tragic heroes an impressive dying speech, he didn't wrote Macbeths. Instead he gave Macbeth one speech in act 5 scene 5 that closest to the death speech. When Seyton leaves to investigate the scream, Macbeth was left alone. During his alone time, Macbeth started think about his past. the reason this factor is important is because most dying speeches involved the hero's life. and in Macbeth case, it was when his former self, " I almost forgotten what fear feels  like. there was a time when I would have been terrified by a shriek in night...". The reason about reviewing one's life in a dying speech is so important is because there're legend that before someone dies, they see they life flash before their eyes. Another factor a dying speech has would be his point of view of life or what he learned or sharing his personal opinion,          ( Seyton came back and gave Macbeth the news about his wife)  " life is nothing more  than an illusion". Before killing king Duncan, Macbeth had never thought that was life in such away, but after facing everything, he came to terms to this understanding. Lastly, this also have the audience a understanding about his mindset at this point which helps the readers connect or understand him.

At first Macbeth 's quote ," life is a tale/ Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury./ Signifying nothing", irritated me since I believe no one's story isn't important. But as I soon kept on thinking, I soon kind of agree with him. I don't think life is told by an idiot, since everyone is a expert of living because they all lived. There might be lazy, slow, rude, and etc. people in the world but even they can learn a few things. Plus what right do people have the right to judge, only God has the power to judge. Sure, it's okay to have an opinion, but you can't classify that person by that opinion but only if you truly know that person. But I do agree that life is filled with sound and fury, but also love, sadness, happiness, and etc. Life can't be sum up with two or there words; life can't be sum up in infinity words because life means different to everyone. Because of that logic above, I soon understand that what life meant for Macbeth, an endless pain that can never stop. But I can't never agree with the last part, "...Signifying nothing", life isn't meaningless. Life holds many wonders for many people, just because there's a moment that horrible doesn't define one's life as nothing. Life isn't suppose to be easy, life is filled with both amazing and horrifying moments, and form each moment teaches the living something valuable. God didn't create life because he thought it was meaningless but because he believe it was valuable, and God wouldn't have created you if he didn't think life isn't worth it.

Macbeth: Act 3

Unlike King Duncan, Banquo was Macbeth ally and friend. Killing a loyal and trustworthy friend like Banquo with his two blood stain hands causes great difficulty then him just killing a king and  two random guards. True, betraying a kind and wise leader can be hard but killing a close friend that's like family can crush the heart. Shakespeare wanted the audience to know that even thought Macbeth's greed and ambition blind him, he still have a heart. Macbeth has change dramatically when he became king. Before, Lady Macbeth was the evil mastermind behind his actions, but when he ask professional murders to kill Banquo, Macbeth changed from the puppet to the puppeteer. The kind, honorable, trustworthy Macbeth became a deceiving, backstabbing, greedy king that was paranoid of his surrounding.

In act one, the couple's introduction reveals that they both deeply love each other and that Lady Macbeth played the dominated lover role in their romance but once they became King and Queen of Scotland their relationship falls apart. In Act 1: Scene 5, Lady Macbeth was the one that create the idea of killing the king and in Act 1:Scene 7, Macbeth lack of will power to murder King Duncan forces Lady Macbeth to use her manipulation skills against him. But in Act 3: Scene 1, Macbeth created the plan for Banquo's death and hid it from his love . Macbeth's dependency on Lady Macbeth has decreased and his will to murder accelerated. The reason this change occur was because the blood on Macbeth's hands caused him to lose sight of who he is and since he's lost, he keep on digging his own grave. Seeing her love, Macbeth, becoming a lunatic and the deed she help commit has finally caught up to her. Lady Macbeth's conscience has started to kick in making her regret her past actions. Also Lady Macbeth's worriedness keeps on increasing, because of Macbeth's actions.

Banquo's son, Fleance, escape  was a huge turning point in the play. After escaping from death, he must have told the rest of the brothers. And those brothers of his must have figured out that something wasn't right. And they will soon help Macduff in his quest to overthrow Macbeth. Either way, Fleance was the announcer that told everyone what happen to his father.

The phrase " blood will have blood" in Act 3: Scene 4, mean that no matter what a person does to erase the blood, it will always stay. After freaking out about Banquo's ghost and sending everyone away, Macbeth has finally accepted that that death of the king and Banquo will forever be stain on his hands since no deed can ever be erase. This phrase connect to today's society amazingly well, since this phrase also means that what's done can't never be change. For instance if a husband cheated on his wife, the wife might forgive him but his past actions can never disappear or when the government lies to their people, their actions can never vanish. What they might had did might not involved  blood, but blood is just a method to actions in Act 3: Scene 4

Macbeth: Act 2

Lady Macbeth was first intrudes as a strong ambitious women that would kill angels to gain her desires but in act two, Lady Macbeth seem more nervous and worry. For instance, "Alack, I am afraid they have awaked, And ’tis not done. Th' attempt and not the deed Confounds us. Hark! I laid their daggers ready; He could not miss 'em. Had he not resembled My father as he slept, I had done ’t". This reveals that even if Lady Macbeth seem cold hearted or greedy, there still a vulnerable spot in her heart. And her recognizing her father in king Duncan, reveals that she wouldn't hurt the ones she love. Even when Macbeth came back traumatize, she encourage him to get better, shows how much she truly love and worry about her husband. In most plays or book ladies like Lady Macbeth are shown as these devilish women that would sacrifice anything, even their love ones but Lady Macbeth never abandon him in this crisis and instead was him pillar. For instance when Macbeth told everyone he killed the guards and Macduff started questing him, she fainted to grab all the attention Macbeth was getting for herself. And since she would do anything for her husband, doesn't that mean she pushed him to kill king Duncan for him. As shown above, she deeply cares for him and thinks she a great man or else she wouldn't have married him but she also said in Act one that he was to kind, so maybe she believe that Macbeth needs help taking his density and achieving greatness. She came up with the idea to kill king Duncan for her husband gain and not herself.

In scene three, Everyone found out about the king's death and of course they wanted answers. But the only people that can provide answers were killed by Macbeth. MacDuff found it strange that Macbeth would do such a foolish deed and started questioning him causing Lady Macbeth to dislike all the attention her husband was getting, so she fainted. For she already knows how delicate he is in this matter.  The other reason she fainted was because of Macduff questioning Macbeth. Lady Macbeth saw Macduff suspicion of Macbeth and worried the others will soon catch on Making he fainting act as a diversion. Not only her fainting was a distraction but also a way to show weakness. The action of fainting is usually occurs when someone is sick or weak, and right now in a confuse situation, she need to look harmless so that no-one would suspects she had any part in crime.

Earlier in scene two, a disorientated and unsettle Macbeth came back astonish by his actions that he was frozen in place. The reads read how his paranoia took over, "There’s one did laugh in ’s sleep, and one cried. 'Murder!' That they did wake each other. I stood and heard them. But they did say their prayers, and addressed them Again to sleep", After Lady Macbeth finish telling what she heard, he starts panicking that other will find out what he had accomplish. His panicking reveals that the action of killing king Duncan haunts him faster than an Australian tiger beetles' speed and a cheetah's speed combine and that he quickly regrets killing the king.  But also he believes that King Duncan blood will never wash off his hands, for instance "Will all great Neptune’s ocean wash this blood Clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather The multitudinous seas incarnadine, Making the green one red", Macbeth has shown that he's not willing to forget his actions and move on, like many killers but instead he chosen to torture himself until death. This reveals that Macbeth was fragile in that moment in both mindset and emotional set. Macbeth's mindset made him want to be unconscious, "To know my deed, ’twere best not know myself" and this mistake will cause him to lose his self later in the play.

Macduff was the first to find his king killed and he immediately sounded the alarm and spread the horrible news. Macduff also felt surprise and was disgusted by the crime that was committed and out of the group he was the one that kept on asking questions and know who was the real killer.  While king's Duncan's sons, Donalbain and Malcolm both fear for their lives and cry for their father. And when the others characters came they were all shock and wanted answer. In today's society, most of the people would react with protest and yell at the government for change. Others would find this as a great chance to increase their career or lifestyle or create memes. The government would be most likely be happy for the king's/ president's death and use this a an advantage to pass/achieve whatever they fancy. And of course there will be people that spread lies and rumors that will most likely appear on the new; causing more chaos in the United States.

                                        Macbeth: Act 1

Witches are seen as devil worshippers that only brings disaster and chaos and them taking part in Macbeth's future reveals a huge secret in the play, Macbeth. After act one, Macbeth was respected as a honorable man that's loyal to his wife, king, and friends but all of that change when he met the three witches. When the three witches predicted his future and having one of their predictions proven right, Macbeth started to believe in their prediction of him soon becoming king that his secret ambitions arise within him. But this can only work if he already wanted to be king. If Macbeth didn't want to be king, he wouldn't have let the witches' perditions affected him so much, that just shows that somewhere inside he wanted to be king if he first didn't see it. Another example would be when he said " if it were done when 'tis done. Then 'twere well it were done quickly: …" ( act 1 scene 7), At the time Lady Macbeth hasn't used her power of manipulation yet, she only told him her plan and yet he was already thinking he could do it until his concession kick in. Why would a man with no desire to become king thinks this was okay, Macbeth already had desire to become king he just need certain people like his wife to bring reveal his true deep yearning. Not only does the withes helps bring out his secret ambitions but they also gave us a foreshadow the ending of Macbeth. The play starts off with the three witches committing a supernatural act. Most of the time when people hear the word " Supernatural" they think of the unknown and usually connect the word with negative concept. Starting off the play with dark vibes send the readers that the end will be nothing close to happiness but instead a tragedy.

As written above, Macbeth already had a secret ambition of becoming king but her never took action toward it. Macbeth was loyal to his king and always believe King Duncan was a great man and plus he always thought there was a very limited chance for him to become king. But when the witches told him he will become king, his hope rise up and surfacing causing him to fall for their trap. When Banquo first hear the witches tell Macbeth his fortune, Human nature kick in and Banquo got curious and wanted to know his future. Even though he ask for his future he didn't believe in it and thought it was ridicules. Even when they were right about Macbeth getting the name of Thane of Cawdor and he still didn't believe. He only started to kind of believe it when Macbeth became king while Macbeth believed it one hundred percent when he was given the name. By Macbeth complete trust in the witches words helped Lady Macbeth push him to action. Even though he was push and wanted to do it at first, his concession took over and reminder him how "Duncan Hath borne his faculties so meek, hath been so clear in his great office, that his virtues..."( act 1 scene 7) and
so much more. He reminder himself he was " his kinsman and his subject" ( act 1 scene 7). Because he reminder all those things and more he soon realize his plan wasn't right and wanted to back out. He wanted to do the right thing but his wife planed other wise.

Back in the past, women were weak, empty minded people that had no power and in that type of environment, yet lady Macbeth has a powerful, undull personality. I admire her strong spirt but as all humans she has flaws. First she was inpatient, when lady Macbeth got her husband letter she was already plaining a plan to get her husband to the top. Her inpatient attitude created a huge mess of events that will soon follow by more madness. Second she was blinded by ambition , Such a prideful women wouldn't want to settle for less; these women only see what they want and they would do anything in their power to gain it even if it means losing their humanity. Lastly she lack concession, she call on the demons to rake control and transform her into a cold hearted women. Since Lady Macbeth is a strong women she wouldn't want a weak man. Even though she attack his manhood in act 1 scene 7 but in act 1 and scene 2 he was called a hero and a brave solider.  She see her husband as a strong, brave, courageous man but also see him as too loyal and too kind hearted. And because of theses two types of different personalities the wife is top dog in the relation ship. Because usually the one with the stronger personality takes charge. And Macbeth love his wife so much that he respected her ideas and thoughts that he making her become more powerful in their relationship.
